I have no idea either - you aren't the only one Ammar
Me to no a idea about the animal poo or the mylasian floral, but pretty sure I got what he was saying with this quote:

<<<<<<<<<<From my general observations I see that some of the customers having spent a staggering amount (perhaps impulse purchases) are now trying to re-sell everything on ebay and other forums but not attracting much interest, I could be mistaken but if that is the case, that would be very sad indeed. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

so I purchased a full bottle of Itr Al Ward for the full price, in addition the vendor sent me two free samples.

Within a few days of my purchase there was the 33% Sale, so I thought how can I ask for a partial refund when he gave me free samples and a discounted postage - so I didn't bother.

Today I checked my paypal account and to my surprise there was $112 refunded with a note explaining that it was due to the Sale.

I expect this from a household national western retailer.

Isn't this is a fine example of strong business ethic's and wouldn't something like this go along way in redressing the climate of suspicion present.

And imagine my schock when I got this....

This is not good costumer service. This is just pure generosity.

May Allah reward you @Al Shareef Oudh
I can't thank you enough.

It must be a great feeling!

These online Vendors have set such a high benchmark in bringing honesty, clarity and generosity in the business that should be appreciated wholeheartedly. I remember seeing a similar act from Taha when he announced some discounts on his products and asked customers to contact him to claim differential.

I can understand how you must have felt after seeing yourself this gesture of fairness, I actually had a similar incident few weeks back that I just wanted to share here with my friends. Actually I have asked AlShareef couple of months back to do some private blends for me (about 4 tolas :) and different compositions), by the way these blends are still in process currently. We agreed on the compositions, on the ingredients, quantities and pricing... anyway, few days back he informed me that for one of the blend, there is one ingredient that he will use little bit less in quantity than what was agreed, and explained that he has faced a major loss of ingredient while making the product usable for my blend due to miscommunication from his supplier. Since this is a sort of favour that I asked him for making my blends therefore I naturally asked him if we can re-negotiate the price due to this unforeseen outcome of this particular ingredient. See what he responded (all copy pasted from my whatsapp conversation):

- I lost a lot of money on this one, but that isn't your problem
- I didn't sell anything to anyone else
- I gave you my words
- The rest is not your problem
- I will not take a cent more

Wow... what a feeling as a customer, can't explain... but obviously this personal experience have given me something to tell my kids.

I think the way Al qaswa and Abasfrag came up and brought forward positive aspects of their experiences is really helpful for the whole community here and gave us the opportunity to appreciate our vendors and the way they conduct themselves.

Where are you going guys ??? Kaylani is certainly a nice oil no doubt as Chamkeila is.... but $640 2.5g or $750 3g for a hindi :Roflmao::Roflmao::Roflmao:
Even Ensar has offered all his well known and best hindis to date Nuh, Isa, Assam Kinam, Yunus, Shuaib etc...and Zakariyya recently for $550/3g !!!
I was one of the first down here to hit Ensar because some of his Ouds were overpriced IMO, maybe now I am wrong and he is one of the cheapest !!!

@F4R1d0uX Are you able to put $750/3g in a hindi ???

Remark : it's only my personal opinion and everyone is free of course to put his money where he wants...

Kaylani is apart to my nose but I cant afford it for sure.

Someone used to this pricing who can afford will enjoy for sure.

Now all trusted sellers know Im not their client and you know it too.

I didn't talk about the price, I talked about the smell...

Kaylani is a fantastic oil maybe wont be your taste as a 0 barn/funk hindi but modern art lovers/ monkoh practicioners would enjoy it for sure.

I know it too and the price tag should surprise a person which is well placed to know the prices from the source right ?
I know that you start selling some good stuff on etsy maybe the things that you found disturbing before have become normal...life and opinions can changed from a situation to another but I will stop here...back to Oud of the day section

My bottles sold at 62€, client told me I made the deal of my life you should charge higher, another took 3 oils and told me they are lovely at a very fair price but on top of that they are happy and that's the most important ...

Clients will continue to buy 700$/bottle because it's their pleasure not your duty to control it, competitors regulates the market there are bros now doing super oud at more than a fair price choice is not limited to 3 sellers...

Maybe you should focus on being happy with sellers who bring you joy and forget the others ...

@firdaous those Ensar oils were sold a while ago where raw material was cheaper etc also i think Zackariya is Burmese. If magically they reappear after the final bottle is sold today i think they would sell for alot more than kaylani. If an oil i feel is too expensive and i really enjoy it i go for a smaller ammount if its above my means. Taha has been working hard cooking some real low yield oils which he may not realise due to the cost.

@Habz786 NOT TRUE please check the marketplace section Yunus sold for it's original price or a little bit higher and "also i think Zackariya is Burmese" TRUE but look after some really nice hindis like Hudhayl, Chamkeila (Assam) or some Manipur distillations like Meitei or Royal Imphal to come way cheaper than kaylani.
Agree with the rest of your post.
