    Hello everyone,

the question here is if the grains need to be sieved before they are put in the sandalwood oil and if it makes difference if they are unsieved? Looking at both the work of Anya King and her articles in "Tibet and Islam Interactions along the musk routes", the recipes there mention the need for sieving.

I recently made two attars with quite some musk in them, and forgot to sieve the grains.
If the grains are already macerating is there something that can be done to the grains that are in the carrier oil that can fix not having sieved them?

Also if you have some tips or questions on sieving, you can share here :)

    Kind regards
