Greetings oud lovers,

For sale:

Country: Philippines
Jungle: Bicol
Sub-species: Malaccensis (best guess)
25-30% sinking

5g: 100
10g: 180

This wood has an excellent aroma - more honeyed, floral, creamy, hay, golden type vibe. Definitely a unique flavor compared to say a tawi or leyete aroma which I've always associated with more of a spice. This is more sweet - kinda like if a cambodi and hainan tree had a baby 🐥.

Pleasantly surprised that this holds up to extremely high heats without going acrid. These chips are small but mighty - none of that, only resinated on one side thing going on here. I often prefer smaller chips bc you can really see what you are getting - no stress about if the inside matches.

Enjoy!

I wish we could also share the scent through microphone and speaker. How amazing would that be.. maybe in near future ouddicts will discover that.
