While I haven't purchased from Ensar in 3 over years, I remain subscribed to their newsletter, and I do get a kick from reading their oil and perfume write-ups. They are generally well written, and paints a vivid picture but my experience is that what I get from the scent never matches up to the description. That is fine, as that applies to most oils' writeups regardless of brand, but Ensar's do seem superlative.
I get the feeling that they've changed their target market now, with the price of their perfumes being way out of my reach. Well - I could buy some but I'm not prepared to pay that much for a fragrance. I paid $395 for EO1 as 50ml EDP when it was announced, and it wasn't too long after that EO2 was released, then EO1 Parfum, EO2 Parfum and I thought the release frequency was getting high. EO1 was touted as being super limited and it sold out - but then a load more became available, and the prices started going up and up. Their 30ml EDPs start at $500 now
also, sorry - this has nothing to do with the subject of this thread
Regarding oud bar, I don't think it's a 'covert' rebranding as they aren't exactly hiding away from the fact that it's the Ensar company behind it. It even has this in the footer,
OUDBAR is a brand of ENSAR OUD LIMITED. Registered in England and Wales No: 13539356
