Rai Muneer attar explorer! Love your posts sir.

who is "tabeer (umair)"?
Sorry for replying late, Sir.

Thanks a lot; your appreciation means a lot. Second, I do follow you truly, and I really have learnt a lot from you, and your posts made me revise my findings. So, actually you are 'Sir', not me.

who is "tabeer (umair)"?
Well, a guy named Umair (distiller vendor) initiated Tabeer Oud last year. Late 2020, he distilled an Assamese Hindi oil, absolutely zero soaked wood. I acquired the oil and found drastic similarities with the non-sokaed Hindi oils offered by some artisans. Later, he distilled another named Kachochang, and it was rather Bette than the previous one. This very oil is really impressive. It suits the phrase "Oud as such". Brahmaputra was his third oil, and this one he exclusively and graciously gave to me, and a few grams he sold to some fellows.

He is planning to distill Manipur Oudwood, Oud from Bhutan Border and Nagaland Oud within a few months.

Mr Umair (Tabeer) has no website, but he has an active Insta account. Second, the way majority of artisans and other vendors do business through WhatsApp Business Account, Umair is no exception.

I am planning to MAKE him distill Oud and Sandal, a sort of co-distillation.

A beastly oud, from upper Assam. I have talked about this before, you can find my review here. This is utterly gorgeous and not for the faint hearted. It is powerful and alluring, you will get noticed. Powerful leather, hay, wild honey, tobacco, floral, and sour-fruits will accompany your sillage. This can be used for meditation, especially the dry down will leave you speechless.
