L: a basic sandalwood (mysore) from Dr. Incense. He sells these frequently during his incense drops. Not a bad price, but very plain. Obviously all sandalwood smells woody, but this more than others I've smelled has a very on the nose smell of cut and drying sandalwood. light and pretty - would make for a good candidate for some aging but I also think it would allow musk or ambergris to shine nicely since it wouldn't be fighting for attention. R. Really can't get enough of this stuff - Kilatan from AH. Such a bargain.Fruity and incense malay. Very tropical and creamy. I smell banana and coconut. Some powderyness. Really cool! The notes AH posts are as accurate as I've seen from any vendor for descriptors. The fizzy sherbert smell takes the words right out of my mouth. I totally get that! Doesn't last as long as I would like, but for the price, you can't beat it at all. This is one of those oils that I think most people would enjoy and if this was made into a perfume, it would be lovely. nothing challenging at all in this.
