Oud Borneo: Essence of Nature! A sort of microcosm.
Oud Royale No5. Ancient maroke goodness.
Burma citron iO
Recalls taha style oils. Clean. Pristine. Top and heart heavy. In a blind test of other essential oils I don’t think it will jump out as agarwood origin.
A clean terpene dominant oil with yellow citrus top notes dancing with bitter indo Chinese qualities but more Indo. Pleasant and nice.

I’m getting a powdery Borneo at drydown
I must say, seems like a good time to be in the oud world! Cheers to all the vendors, new and old.
One more interesting things about ouds ,some are very quite and u feel it's gone after 10 min or cant feel anything but suddenly when u move u know that ur wrong and u get some beautiful wiffs as u move .

Nothing new to add that hasn’t been said. I am loving old oud way way more than when I started or ever thought I will.
Taha's new Hindi oil tonight. This is hot off the press. Still needs time to settle but already amazing. A lot different than Hindustan 1. Sorry I can't write a review yet. Still trying to decipher this one.
Taha describes it as
"...its closest to Royal Lao in ‘scent texture’ and performance... and closest to Ascent in terms of ‘bright black’ ie ethereal + dark at the same time"
EO Komrad K on the left
AA Kanzen on the right
When I smell Kanzen, my mindis thinking...
“I paid nearly $400 for this”.....
and my noseis telling me....
“It’s worth every penny, I’m lovin’ it”
Then when I smell Komrad K, my mindis thinking.....
“I paid under $200 for this”....
and my noseis telling me.....
“I’m struggling bro!, you paid too much!”
Spoken like a true professor
Among my many inquiries with Taha, his descriptions are always so analytical.
I’m sure that those who have done the same, get my drift
No holds barred, when I inquired of Dao, he likened the profile to “poison”
He’s really deep man you go! Bro!
PLEASE let us listen your precious 'experience' about Royal Lao... Don Corleone ...
Comrades always pay!
R u saying another oil has joined haroon as weakest ensar oil ? Not many in this camp. In fact I can’t really name any other than haroon.
Hansei by Agar Aura
sounds great, hopefully i'll get to try this one, I like bright black
Oud Kedah Malaysia: Intensively vibrant Oud. Such oil compels me to sit away from the chest to sniff some other. Neither too green nor too airy or soil-y. Nice proportion of Oudy notes.
I’d take Haroon over Komrad
What about Oud Yunus and Oud Haroon?
No contest, I prefer Yunus of course
Separate names with a comma.
