How to identify an old harvested oud from new harvested by the surface

Although both of them are fast sinking but the left side is much better and much more expensive. The oud on left side become red color, if the oud has been kept more them 20 years, the surface of the oud was oxidized by air and the surface will become red color. And watch the pattern of the oud we can know it should from cambodia, indian or Vietnam but not from laosi,Malaysia or Indonesia which the oud has another pattern. While the oud on the right side is also high quality but it’s should be harvested from new region like Philiphine or Sri Lanka about 4-5 years ago. (Only these 2 areas has high quality oud been found in recent years). This is first info to help us to identify the oud region before we burn them…
