Whats the difference between the aroma of wood and tea leaves?

Basically, we can smell using our sense of smelling, and Robots cannot smell at all.
I can’t imagine a Robot swiping oud and saying “aaaaaaahhhhh, what a heavenly scent.”
We can produce machinery (robots) that can detect chemicals, molecules, and what not, and we can make them more precise at that function than our own senses, but essentially, we cannot make them smell.
There’s a bit of mixing apples and oranges here, so we have to understand that smelling is more than just detection. Smelling links up with other senses, and dimensions.
I’d rather not expound on “dimensions”, that would not be appropriate for this forum.

Hmmm... well that depends on the wood. What’s the difference in smell between two vegetables?

Like Mr.P said, it depends.
What type of wood, what type of tea.

You can also do two types of comparison:
The first
Smell the wood....write down the result
Smell the tea....write down the result
then compare your results

The second
Do a side by side comparison
sniff one then sniff the other
this is more of a “live” comparison
but the notes of one will affect the notes of the other
