Do oud oil become 2 layers over time?

If an oud oil over long time become like two layers does that mean is not pure?or can be that has resin content and that is what separates from oil as a small layer is more thick?if also dust wood like at bottom of bottles why can be?

Most likely it's water that was pulled through which is settling at the bottom along with dust
