Figured you all might like seeing what some China Market Sinking carvings looked like.

Those that attended last week’s Vegas Fayre saw these, and can attest to JUST HOW FRAGRANT these bad ass pieces are :) @jensz - remember your initial impression?

Buddhas, Kwan Yin’s, and Dragons oh my!!

Fortunately, they smell so incredibly aromatic at room temp, there is no need

(facepalm) for using something for a purpose they are NOT intended for... But then again, maybe that's a use as well (?)

I’m almost afraid to ask, but what kind of ballpark price range do such pieces go for? :Whistling:
Or are they ancient priceless artefacts...but even then...every thing has a price...right? :Roflmao:

Carvings in general run for around $80-$120 / g in the China Market. If they sink, can be more. And if they are fragrant at room temp, more still. As a general range - roughly $80 - $200 / g

These sink, are superbly aromatic at room temp, and are priced on the lower end @$100/g

These are, interestingly, Balinese. They smell frickin fantastic - and the carvings are quite beautiful. Some of the pieces are quite thick, as well. They are all thick - but like cigarette lighter thick

Any that you’ve got that you can post here?

Do you recall just how AROMATIC these were when opening the box I had them in?
