Habzoud Sri Lanka
Some pieces are strongly mentholic.
You can’t go wrong with a good Walla!
I've had some of Royal Bengal Oud's sinking Sumatran on, nice resin bubbles
Not a burning session.
we have fruit something called '모과(Mo-Gwa, Pseudocydonia sinensis)' in our country(South Korea)
it's not a Marmelo(Cydonia oblonga) that you can find in Europe.
it smells refreshing, zesty, citrusy, cool at room temperature. we use this fruit as an air fresher or make a tea with a pickled one.
I have a Mogwa tree in front of my house. so I had a chance to get some Mogwa.
though it looks ugly, it smells really great.
do you guys ever sniffed some Mogwa? if not, it's really worth try.
Do you think I can find them at a local Korean store in the US ?

I don't know. but not likely. maybe you could find it at the Chinese store. it's not a readily available fruit. so it can be hard to obtain.
Why can’t I find an oil that displays this amazing scent? Yet to find a truly representative oil . I love my Vietnam oils but they don’t capture the beauty of the wood when it’s slowly heated. Maybe I should throw some nice wood in an all glass setup and vacuum distill with no heat, something fairly hard to do on a large scale and probably never done on a commercial level. I wonder.....
When you order from t Bolton, get a sample of his Nha Trang 20 year
Heated some Al Hashimi Sinking Sumatra
copious amounts if resin
nice smell too
then some Habz Hindi
lovely heart warming profile
then some IO sinking Sri Lanka
from 4 years ago
Walla Patta with a Borneo twist
Brother, if you happen to find an oil that displays viet wood gently heated, then please let me know!
royal green hojary after Filipino oud.

Started with a gentle heating of
Shoyeido First Class.....
this particular batch may be Borneo
because it is kinda sweet and perfumey
but I still cannot be certain
Finished with an all-out blast of
Filipino chips from LMK
Two Incenses: Nippon Kodo sandalwood and a Merauke one.
Habz Filipino Sinking
then some Aquilaria Filaria (above ground)
Nice Long session today
Started with EO 70s Mysore ground to a powder
heated low then slowly all the way up to high until the powder turned dark brown then stopped! Heating the sandalwood certainly has more to offer than even a high quality sandalwood stick.
Then after the powder cooled, heated it a second time for more pleasure and a new set of notes.
Then it was time for some agarwood.
Al Hashimi Tawi Tawi first batch. I have been heating Habz’s more often because I have more of it...killler stuff...but this Tawi Tawi is awesome. Top notes include a melange of orange candy, marzipan, and cream. After more heat comes some honey wheat puffs with it’s carmelized sugar goodness.
My room snells great!
I have been going heavy on some sinking Malinau I recently acquired and am totally in love. It smells amazing at room temp And gets better and better as you apply more and more heat. Some of the pieces have resin filled sections that melt out like butter
Where can I get some?
