Wasn't sure where to post this....
So I am using ambergris in some Mysore Sandalwood oil.....and am wondering what colour have any of you guys/gals got from it.
I have a premium white ambergris....I have used another ambergris also white, which turns a blackish colour, also with musk mind you.
However I want to see if the two change the sandalwood a different colour with just the ambergris....
Anybody else with experiences of this?
    Thank you.

So this is the sandalwood after one day with a little under 0.3gms of white ambergris. I did not crush this time...just placed about three small lumps into the bottle. I have carried the bottle with me since doing so. And I turn it regularly... The pieces have almost disappeared and the Sandlewood has a changing scent already. I shall see if it turns completely dark or stays ruby red...
