“Lucky Lightening Strike” Sinking Nha Trang

This is a unique find...a tree long ago exploded to bits and thrown across the forest floor from what must have been a massive lightening strike. Old charred wood was found among the decaying chunks of tree spread across more than 50 square meters of jungle.

What was left behind, we can only call Lucky Lightening Strike.

Several large plates were found from the find. This is “dead wood” rather than “soil / buried” wood.

This scent profile is OLD. No doubt the tree it came from was old, and who knows how long ago the tree was struck by lightning and has been laying there. Whatever the case...they don’t make ‘em like they used to. Here’s a chance to grab a relic.

These plates are HIGHLY aromatic at room temp. Green / Black Kynam kinda note, and deeply incense’y. Oozes with resin when heated.

Thick plates that I’ll be breaking down for folks to buy chunks of it. Some superbly rare stuff - with a unique and extraordinary scent.

You know where to find me.

    That’s because it is!!

For those that know Viet Dead / Soil Woods ...

Here’s an example (courtesy photo from a friend). Kinda Yellow / Green Skin - and the resin inside is pitch black. This kind of wood is high demand kinda stuff in the Asian market. Not a scent normally found in the Arab market.

Dead and Soil Woods are more temp sensitive - so it’s best to heat this kind of wood low and slow.

I sliced a thin edge of this piece - can see it’s solid resin through and through. But it’s not just the resin density ... it’s the OMG scent!

This is just a thin edge. Most of this is much thicker.

Just now received my 'Lucky Lightning Strike' and WOW - the smell - it is fabulously vintage! This wood smells unbelievable - it thrives on low heat and is relatively long lasting.

Scent - mostly fresh baked cookies, some vanilla, condensed milk - based on just one session and first impressions!
