Yes, it is a radical change. But the first step towards change was 'Oud is no more an investment', and there is no such thing as 'legend'. Both totally depend upon the reviews; thus, no strong foundation was there to sustain both illusions. Now two more steps would bring drastic changes: first, blind test, and second, mentioning the cost price of oils/ attars. Though difficult, but not impossible. Someday, they will get realized. If Armani, Gucci, etc. can be discussed regarding ingredients being used in their perfumes, and then the possible actual price, and then their wangling money from the customers, everything can be discussed about all. All includes both the designer perfume brands and the artisan oil/attar vendors.
