Super Hoi-an
quite comforting

Yunnan Imperiale
I got hit with tobacco and sun dried ripe fruits
then smacked by oudiness
a little later, bitter peels
a little later, field grass
a little later, something floral
then it dries down incensy.
Acrobatics on display, however, the intensity does not join the dry down.

I love Walla!
But then I had to prepare some tuna salad for lunch, well, I can tell you oud and canned tuna do not go together:Roflmao::Roflmao::Roflmao:

So after resetting.....
a swipe before heading off to work...
Assam Organic Meghalaya
I am reminded of how much I like this oil:Inlove:

I was wearing one of the AO last night, love it! Taking deep sniffs and got this very, ugh I can't even describe it...amazing feeling from it though.

Tonight is a usual mad start to the weekend. I started by swiping 2 oils - next thing you know I have on like 7.....!

LMK - Eau de Vietnam, this keeps getting better and better
Sultan Pasha - Ensar Rose, Nankun Kodo, Incense, Irisoir and Thebes 2
EO - Assam 3000

EO - Khus D'Afrique

My love for Vetiver(Khus) is even older than Oud... from my Indian Ruh Khus to Guerlian Vetiver, Hermes, Fedric Male Vetiver Extraordinaire.....

My this Khus D'Afrique is different. Is it better than the Indian Khus? I personally can't compare the two, one is green (Indian Khus) and the other one (Khus D'Afrique)uses Lime and Orange peel notes to make this a fresh summer fragrance...

All Vetiver fans should surely try this one.

Its a lovely, stormy evening here in Toronto. Felt like wearing something special so.... Sultan Suleyman. Flawless execution. A blend where both Malaysian and PNG ingredients shine.
The experience is like standing on a beach by a thick green forest with mysterious wildflowers and the first few drops of rain just touched the warm sand.

Ashfaque

Jonoon al Oud
A Sylheti oud (2013), locally bought. Intensely leathery beginning - quickly (5-10 mins) becomes deep, woody, with facets of dark chocolate, hint of Himalayan cedar (the tingling bit and some of woody bits), some moist hays (that gets drier at later stage), ripe berries, hint of wet earth, and crushed leaves. Wearing it neat after a long time (probably 4+ months). The dry down is an olfaction wonder akin to Hindi chips burning at low temperature for over 30 mins.

Agarwood Assam - Crassna Intense (sold out now)

A special oil ... dont be fooled by the name Crassna ... it is far far from being a typical Thai Oud....

The oudiness and Musk note is ever present on the top, heart and in the dry down.... to top that in the opening my nose picks up mint with some tamarind/cola style note which I've picked up only in Taha's Royal Jerai(Malaysian Oud) ... the dry down is really like burning a resinous piece of Agarwood on charcoal... and this dry down stays with you for hours (6-8hours in Mumbai heat) ...

A big regret I didnt order a full bottle basically got fooled by the name and expected it to be fruity/sweet Thai Oud.. at less $80 per ml this was a stupid call me :(

Today is the day I did a comparison of a swipe on skin, and a swipe on hydrated skin.

I applied some of this lotion.....
FB54ADE2-DCA9-4DCF-AA05-E7621682058F.jpeg

and although it says “fragrance free”, I could still smell something:Cautious:
I guess it should say “no fragrance added”.
Who do they think they’re dealing with anyway,,,
I can smell water!:Roflmao::Roflmao::Roflmao:
I’m a Hound Dog!:Roflmao::Roflmao::Roflmao:

Getting back to my experiment...
Agar Aura Dao was the oud.
One swipe on untreated skin, one swipe on the hydrated skin.
I’ll make it short and sweet........
There is no appreciable difference :Cooler:
:praying:
