The leaf is much more in the way of sweet scent then the flower. This is certainly not over powering and is quite smooth when smelled from the bottle. When dabbed on the skin it has a more smokey/dark coffee scent, slightly on the damp side. This is going to work well in blends...want to experiment with this with more fruity oils or even rose...but it is very nce just as it is...neat on the skin...as long as I get no skin irritation from its application...
Very much like it Ulugbek

Question... I noticed you haven’t said it smells like tobacco. Do you get the tobacco association from it or does it really smell like Smokey dark coffee?

So I have just compared the leaf oil against the leaf flower.
I can detect more of the tobacco note from the flower ...more so then the leaf.....The leaf note seems to have a deep dark damp tobacco scent to it....I say coffee (above post) because it reminds me of a coffee/tobacco hanging aroma.....I have just applied some to my skin as I write this note....and its profile has changed after about 10 minutes.....it lightens up a little and loses the damp coffee note and begins to take on a cleaner/medicinal note.
Another lovely thing is that I don't have any skin reaction to applying this oil.
It would appear that the drier this gets on the skin...the more the tobacco gets released......

İ have tried this absolute, and this is amazing stuff.
Would work very well in attar compositions , it is even good enough standalone(would wear it neat).
İt smells deep , medicinal somewhat ambery?

For everyone that wants to try smth different in a composition besides tobacco etc , i am sure you can get great results with this.

I have used it with a mix of sandalwood, Patouchili, a little rose oil and this tobacco leaf. The mix us about two weeks old....and lots more interest from the bottle. I applied small test sample on my skin and while I am not great at identifying all the notes...I do not that 6 hours later...leather/tobacco was prominent still. Very rich scent from that lot...😇
