Hello Folks
Hope you are doing well.

Is anybody here planning to buy any of the perfumes from Agar Aura today's release ?
Just wanted to if anyone would be willing to share some decants.
Also, what are your thoughts on blind buying such expensive perfumes ?

I have blind bought in the past but once I got samples flowing I tended to go with the samples as a guide. On this site I find some very good reviews of most Oudhs and perfumes....so it makes decisions less of an issue for me.....
But I think I would need to sample a perfume first...especially one priced over $500....

Same was my dilemma. Wanted to go for the Kinam attar.
Everything got sold out in an hour or so. There was a huge anticipation as this was his first spray format release. Will see how people respond to it.

There are already written reviews up on the site about the Kinam attar.........

I missed it due to the time difference. It opened at around 1am EST. lol. I would love to get a decant if someone managed to get it.

That's true. One can easily sell it. A lot of people appreciate Taha's work out here.

I was able to sample Al-Jazaab and this really is a sprayable Attar. It’s an Oud centric soliflare with just a touch of roses to support it. I know Taha describes this as rose centered but I don’t really feel that to be the case. I get a ton of black pepper, cloves, some soft camphorus effect from the Oud itself and an outstanding touch of green rose backing it all up. The Oud itself is smooth with green resinous qualities to it and becomes slightly medicinal between the camphorus nature of black pepper, rose absolutes and the Oud.

it’s a simple but easy wear and Taha really dresses the oud up beautifully. Longevity is fantastic as well.


If you’ve tried layali this is basically Layali but with a lot of spice and pepper up top.

Actually the camphor is not from the oud but camphor itself. He used it in all three compositions to help with projection and longevity. I have Soryo, and know others who have all three and confirmed this.
