Does anyone have any previous experience with Agar Aura Attars?. Three were just were re-released this morning, and I was curious if anyone had tried them in the past. Are they worth picking up? Thanks for any feedback!

Agar Aura comes really highly rated. If you dig through the forums you'll see them mentioned a lot. I haven't tired any myself but I ordered the samples for the new releases this morning. Looking forward to them.

Thank you for the response. I have a fair amount of (newbie) experience with the oils, and the Attars sounded interesting. I will get some samples as well.

Yes I have the Layali from the first release . A fantastic combo of oud rose patchouli and davana . A very deep and thick smokey dark green attar with with a brilliant rose touch to it .
A beast mode attar with a great sillage power .

I am looking into his attar too, have you had a chance to try the new release, do you think it's reformulated because someone mentioned that layali is light and summery .

Would you be able to elaborate on the samples, curious to hear about them
They're quite hard to describe. All of them have a strong sweet oud kick in their top note (think of something like Cambodian or Vietnamese) but mellow out on the drydown. Both Arabiya and Jenkoh's drydown I'd describe as floral, with Arabiya having an undertone of spice and smoke, with Jenkoh's being sweeter. I was at one point thinking of changing to buying Jenkoh instead but it was $100 more than Arabiya so I went with that instead If you read the description on his website I'd say it describes it well.

Someone above described Layali, I would agree it's a strong scent, more for the oud oil purists, but I thought the other two were better imo.

Just received Jinkoh and Arabiya today. Started with Jinkoh...very well balanced Oud/Sandalwood attar. As far as I can tell first time through, this is a straight forward composition that is a simplistic beauty. I’m about two hours in and it’s an ever changing balance of the two woods. It’s difficult to describe, but immediately I know I love it. Taha did great with this one.
