@Dave831 the first one looks like driftwood the second is hard to see what type of wood it is but looks like it has been coated with a thick lacquer of some type. Like Zahir I am no expert but I would be shocked if either were agarwood:Cautious:.

Don't worry @Joe King you won't be shocked ...

I don't know but the reddish one looks kinda cool... If the red thing is resin then maybe it's african teak or bloodwood tree... Where this wood comes from?

The second one red sandalwood? It is a very old log, extremely heavy I cut it with my Saw barely able to. And it looks like that when I put Water on it. How about this new picture. You can see dark colored wood surrounding The 1800 era square nails still embedded in it..

The “driftwood” smells of milk and honey. That’s why I asked. I have a very old canvas picture frame, some very old kitchen cabinets, and several logs of that same lumber.. Strong Caramell milk honey smell

Right... While I am handing over the admin to others, it’s a graceful process which means I’m still going to act on things like this. Dave, you have been asked to explain your previous threads and haven’t. I’m closing this thread down.

@jensz and @riviera274 can decide what to do with your account status.
