Brut reminds me of my pre-teen years. I was already a fraghead at such a young age. I would go to the “big” store in town, straight to the cologne and perfume aisle, and for every twist to open cap bottle, I would open them and take a smell.
Remember Pub or Dante??

There's no winning because both are different and brilliant each on their own. AA CC brilliance in how it managed to tame down the stubborn patchouli and in controlling the oud Hindi "Mahabali" earthy herbaceous and animalic aromas balanced by oakmoss in the bakground to create a new car-leather-like clean mossy scent and one of the best long drydown I've smelled to date. EO SLA brilliance in how it calibrated the frankincense, resin, spices, castorium I guess, and non-hindi oud to create a true image of full grain- leather-like aroma, mind you the mild high quality rose at the opening.Rofl!
