It is becoming one of the appreciated blends.

MOTD
A blend named JOE KING ITR : I wore it first time after blending all ingredients. Desert sand after rain at night in summer. Neroli has infused a shades of soil-y river water. This is Musk that has created lasting spell. Kedah and Papua's green fragrance and Ceylon Oud's sharp bitterness have been transform into solemnly dignified scent.

Mysore Santal 0.6 ml
Aged 3 Musks Maceration 0.2 ml
Neroli Santal Oud Attar 0.2 ml
Kedah Thaqeel (Malaysian) 0.2 ml
Sri Pada (Sri Lankan) 0.1 ml
Green Papua (New Guinea) 0.2 ml

this is an attar I am proud to lend my "name" to :Notworthy: , mysore, oud and musk with neroli :Inlove: (and somehow no rose in sight:D)
I am patiently:X3: waiting for my musk macerations to mature so that I may attempt my own blends:confused:
Seeing the posts of blends by respected members has made me curious to try myself:rolleyes:

Before going to bed:

Inkannyezi (Tyson): This is the Mysore Sandal that one could experience only at least three decades before. A dream realized to try such Mysore Santal.

It doesn't deserve to mix, blend or infuse anything into it as it is already perfect and unique. Whosoever wants to have the 18th Century's Mysore wild trees, this oil is the only path that leads to the destination. How difficult it is to wear the oil one sincerely thinks is not from and for this corporeal world, but is just for the pure at heart and a thorough spiritual being!

Would that the whole batch were mine.

Respected Tyson, stay blessed.

Musk Man
Ambergris in Sandal K Aira+ Musk Rose Maceration
Musk has harnessed White, Bulgarian and Turkish Rose' citrus-y kick and now the aroma is Musk Rose. I blended a few drops of this Musk Rose in Ambergris Sandal oil. (This Musk Rose Maceration is an aged one. No Sandal in it, but just Musk grains and Rose.)

Myriads of Rose petals floating on the surface of Ambergris and Sandal ocean. While Musk is like drizzling there. I love such oils whose dab is enough to feel and live their beauty for hours.

Dear Joe, I wish I could send you this blend to make you change your view about Rose. But the day would come when I will manage so.

Bulgare Fleuri et Animalique 2018

First swipe from a sample vial.

I get the WOW factor...so it need a proper review after more studies.

First impression:

There is many notes (musc/ambregris/florals).

all is very well balanced.

You can smell the ingredients and the mix is perfectly made (you dont get too much of this or that).

The evolution has a perfect tempo...the drydown is very smooth.

Mach’Allah very nice job from @Elixir Attar :clapping:

Musk Man
Borneo+Mysore Santal+Neroli+Ambergris blended in Musk Maceration: Neroli is just minutest, not more than two drops in two ml. Where is scorching summer? This itr has limitless cooling and transporting effect.

Musk maceration is the catalyst. It shapes the blend.

I have mixed feeling about this Attar - the opening is not my favorite - smells tooooo natural and raw/unedited to my nose (but I feel like it is necessary as it sets up for what comes next. The dry down is right up my alley and it is frigging amazing - leather and loads of it. Not a pretty leather but leather with grungy oily goodness. I have smelled a lot of iris/leather scents, so no this is not what I expected but I am glad that it is different. I would have love it, if I haven’t smelled Tudor Rose, Racine and Mehndi oud imperial (the attars which make me wonder why it hasn’t gotten more praise - will write about them sometime this week). You know that feeling when you experience something beautiful and you almost want to tear up ? These three oils gave me that feeling, especially Racine and Tudor Rose

Tudor Rose - Mellifluence
Typically I hate rose - but oh man. This is instant love for me. It opens up smokey - Rose is definitely there, and it reminds me A LOT of Amouage Attar - somehow it smells much more rounded and less invasive. Some sweetness (another thing that I try to steer away from) creeps in, smoothing the entire composition off to something incredibly balanced (even more so) and creamy. To be honest I am gobsmacked - two elements I don’t typically enjoy in any composition, beautifully put together in one. I LOVE this.
Now I wonder - how crazy someone who loves rose in fragrances will get when they smell this? Bravo!
