Please, add a bit Saffron too.
Respected Agil, have you ever tried any attar having Santal and Patchouli?
Romantic ha ha. Guess women will appreciate this attar a lot more then!
Generally sweet perfumes work really well in colder weather. The coldness just mask all that extra sweetness.
It’s just like the analogy of an ice cream. An ice cream as a liquid at room temperature is way too sweet to taste. But when frozen and made into an ice cream, it becomes a treat for the taste buds .
The western countries are cold for atleast 6 months of the year. That could be why vanilla/sweet fagrances have a lot of appeal over there.
Your sweet enough already @Rai Munir that's why you need musk Balance prevails !!
I think there is a lot of wisdom in your thinking
I haven’t tried any true blend from a distiller/perfumer. I hope Tyson will fulfill that wish!
My infatuation on this started with some old Indian Patchouli incense sticks. When burnt, it emitted a wonderful musky woody yet floral aroma that was very pleasant. So then I started buying Patchouli oils, which unfortunately didn’t quiet have that effect. They were actually deep, earthy with medicinal top notes. But an aged patch oil had more roundness to it with that medicinal note removed. And when Santal was brought to the mix, it started to smell in the direction of those incense sticks.
I cant remember did you get any of the Aluhlaza Marakata its my favorite out of all my sandalwood oils , in many years it will mature masterfully .
There is one bottle left of the Euphoria 175 with the sale plus 15 for shipping

Holy sold out
2 bottles of the Aluhlaza Marakata / silver ambergris
Yes, yes. You are right.
Its sweetness lasts for first 30 minutes. Then Santal casts its magic. So, no worries for the ones living in the Eastern countries.
