The problem is when i wear this oil nothing else satisfies me for next few days. It has to be the finest oil i have.
I hear you. Not all but many top shelf oud do that. Oh well. Acceptance must be practiced.

This is why I’m inclined towards sticking to the “regular” stuff! :Roflmao: Take a big swipe or two any time to make an all day oud bubble... :Cooler:
Yet to sniff any “top shelf” aka $1k+ oils. :Whistling:

You do have $1k+ oils. 2 bottles of Green Papua :Roflmao:
We should go to Vancouver and terrorize @Rasoul Salehi to show us his collection of $1k+ oils. I'm sure his collection is museum grade.

can you tell me more about this one?

This link will take you to the product page at Treasure Oud.

Basically, the 95 year tree oil is a Bangladesh Sylhet region Hindi oil. Nice perfume funk opening, and scent progressions that leads to a decent oudy woody drydown.

It was distilled in 2012, which smoothed out any roughness.

Before deciding on a full bottle of this oil, I recommend sampling Rising Phoenix’s Kalamam Islay and Hindi Gangaridai 2015, Al Shareef Oudh’s ‘Aasifah and Hind, plus Royal Bengal Oud’s Bangladesh oils.

First time I wore it since the first week I received it months back. It has fully settled now and has a remarkable resemblance to ksk.

Take Vietnam bitter medicinal focus dress it in red, add tobacco but not the Hindi version, add Cambodi unique terpy notes and you have kuzen. Not as milky or cannolis as kanzen and the cool mint green accord is swapped with red cherry tobacco accord. Some vague similarities to viet zephyr and kinam rouge

Are their oila true to description? Because I remember seeing oils made from 70, 100, 120 years old trees or something similar to it.

How is their wood if anyone has tried it?

I tried 95 year tree and star oud, the descriptions of these two oils are true enough, but how we experience oils is not in the same league as just reading descriptions. Both nice oils but not Jaw-Dropping, I like ASO’s Aasifah and RBO’s Bandarban Hills equally as much.

I also tried the TO Raw Aged Oud chips. Very nice for what it is, but there are better oud wood options out there IMO.

IO Sri Pada this morning

followed by EO Assam Organic Meghalaya.

The Sri Pada is more like an oud flavor, nice to appreciate occasionally, but when I swiped AOMeg
......:handfist::handfist::handfist:MAN! It hit “the spot”.
This type of Hindi is really Oud with a capital O:Thumbsup:
I almost feel sorry for those who cannot love this oil, but I guess we can’t change our innate preferences.

I wear this oil frequently and love it. I never understood why it didnt sell well. I agree it has similarities to KSK at a much better price. I actually prefer it over Kanzen.

where as i prefer kanzen over kuzen. green vs red. cooling and soaring, vs. warming and settling. at the end of the day though humbly speaking the oil is priced right. maybe it could have been $100 or so more. but to my nose and for my aesthetic, it falls short of taha's best oils. for me vsk over ksk too. basically green over red is more my thing.

Martabat (IO) newly released Brunei oil, and on the heater 70's Indonesian wood chip (Rising Phoenix).
Hard to attach scent descriptions but the oil has an herbal-sweet aura that I'm really enjoying, and the wood is likewise uplifting. Nice combo!
