I am one of those who love rose and Tudor Rose is pure bliss for me. Racine as well. I am glad to find someone who appreciates these attars. Frankly Tudor Rose is not just my favorite perfume from Mellifluence but my favorite perfume, period. Its aroma takes me away immediately. Racine is spectacular also. I really love Mehndi Oud's smell from the bottle. On the skin it is also very nice but from the bottle it is most wonderful.Pallida - Mellifluence
I have mixed feeling about this Attar - the opening is not my favorite - smells tooooo natural and raw/unedited to my nose (but I feel like it is necessary as it sets up for what comes next. The dry down is right up my alley and it is frigging amazing - leather and loads of it. Not a pretty leather but leather with grungy oily goodness. I have smelled a lot of iris/leather scents, so no this is not what I expected but I am glad that it is different. I would have love it, if I haven’t smelled Tudor Rose, Racine and Mehndi oud imperial (the attars which make me wonder why it hasn’t gotten more praise - will write about them sometime this week). You know that feeling when you experience something beautiful and you almost want to tear up ? These three oils gave me that feeling, especially Racine and Tudor Rose
Tudor Rose - Mellifluence
Typically I hate rose - but oh man. This is instant love for me. It opens up smokey - Rose is definitely there, and it reminds me A LOT of Amouage Attar - somehow it smells much more rounded and less invasive. Some sweetness (another thing that I try to steer away from) creeps in, smoothing the entire composition off to something incredibly balanced (even more so) and creamy. To be honest I am gobsmacked - two elements I don’t typically enjoy in any composition, beautifully put together in one. I LOVE this.
Now I wonder - how crazy someone who loves rose in fragrances will get when they smell this? Bravo!
Orange peel orangey, orange twig orangey or orange bloom orangey?Orangey!

Elixir .. sacred incense .
very incensy , smoky , dark feel from the old ages/ something primitive not from modern times.
great sillage and lasts over 10 hours.
Great. Granules are worth-loving. Low heat would enhance the delicacy of fragrance. If coal is used, better burn something else like Frankincense first, and later place granules on Frankincense consumed layer. A kind of mica plate. Now I'm enjoying Imperial Oud's Mysore Sandalwood from my order

Electric heater or coal, Mysore will come up with full throttle.
Yesterday i wore Umami Ceylon Sandalwood from @RisingPhoenix, and was blown away!
Now I am a relative amateur at sandalwood, having only properly tried out around ten or so oils from various sources and regions.
However, Ceylon Umami is truly exceptional, in his description on Etsy, JK says:
“Everyone who has smelled it so far without any context has either thought it was an Attar or an Oud.”
Well, I experienced that to be completely true...my impression was that it was a complete fragrance on its own, and when i asked my wife to take a sniff from my arm, she first said it smelled like a perfume, and immediately followed up with is it an oud?!?!!
Also lasted for 8 hours atleast on my skin, evolved nicely as it settled in the first couple of hours, and then just a rich deep sandal scent...excellent!!!
Just have a sample of this one, but may have to get a bottle! Or a tola even!
Nicely done @RisingPhoenix !
My kind friend great review, and its wajood .And now I have swipes of 2 new attar arrivals from Agarwood Assam - Hujood & Zaffrani Sandal. Here's what I sent to Zak:
I just swiped Zaffrani Sandal and woah - this is powerful stuff! I've not smelled natural saffron (have bought some strands before but it may not have been "proper" stuff (i.e. it was from a supermarket)) - mainly synthetic representations in fragrances and this stuff is killer!
I also took a swipe of Hajood and I can smell your Rhu Khus immediately, but it's tamed and toned down by what I presume is the mandarin. Wow...I wrote a review of the Rhu Khus recently saying that, by itself it may be a bit too hard to wear, but I can tell that it really comes alive in a blend! It's kind of earthy, damp yet brightened by the orange
