mini purchases while we are suffering worst exchange rate up in the great white north...

tyson's ancient white ambergris/sandal/frangipani
malaca and malinau agarwood from al hashimi
few sulaweisi nugs from IO
Tyson's Euphoria is very very nice. Frangipani is definitely not a flower with "too" feminine a scent ;)

:(, you teasing me.:Devilish:

Let it reach Pakistan. Then I will collect kilos of fresh Frangipani blooms, and thrust my nose into it. Though I don't like burying the nose into the wrist, but into flowers it is a must.

Above all, dearest Rasoul has whetted the craving for this itr. Baby breaths! Two fragrances in Nature, washed up air and baby breaths have the most divine and sacred effect.

i am convinced you will be head over heels for this one. aromas captured are accurate and pristine. i look forward to see how they will morph into one another and what lies ahead on the other side of the funnel

We had a Frangipani tree in our backyard when I was growing up. Many of my days of youth were filled with the aroma of this, and other flowers.

Teasing just a bit :praying:
I know what you mean about burying your nose into flowers. Some might think we are bees :D Although the best flower smell is the unexpected one when you are sitting outside and a breeze starts blowing bringing with it a beautiful scent. Then you have to stop and breathe in the mystery scent and search around until you find the source.

My first impression of Frangipani is very positive, it is very refreshing (and the sandal :handok: and the ambergris :handok::handok:) but I will let the oils lay in a cool spot for a few days and try them again.

The smell of clear air after rain...bliss. For me the smell of cold air coming from snow filled mountains in the winter... even more than bliss...

Hope your package arrives tomorrow :praying::praying::praying:

Just venting...lol...
Before getting into oud, I never did much online shopping except an occasional Amazon purchase...now over the past few months feels like I’ve learned more than i ever knew about purchasing online, both through the forum and directly from vendor websites. And along with it a bit about shipping.

I’m surprised when budget options are chosen for shipping or quicker shipping is not offered...I don’t know about others, but after a week or so of waiting, the excitement sort of dies down. The enthusiasm & anticipation while reading of reviews & descriptions then placing an order, slowly dissipates. Eventually checking tracking and seeing no movement becomes an annoyance. What was paid for is even forgotten...lol... i honestly believe that if vendors chose faster shipping methods, they would have more likely repeat business sooner.

A few of the vendors that I dealt with who were quick to ship and chose fast shipping, all received follow up orders, soon after receiving the initial purchase. It’s like the excitement and anticipation of the research and purchase was still high. Where it took a long time, motivation for follow up purchases was greatly reduced...

As I said, just venting, and maybe I’m too impatient or crazy, but honestly in my opinion getting product to the customer quicker should increase sales volume...

Edited to add a realisation:
Amazon must have figured that out... thus the “same-day delivery” option in a number of cities...although sometimes it doesn’t quite work, but they certainly capitalise on t...:Roflmao:

Hi Arsalan !
I understand your point but sincerely, are you ready to pay 70$ for fast shipping ?

Depends on the value of the purchase, if it’s a $700 purchase, absolutely! If purchase amount is lower, even then having the option atleast is nice...

Another option is for vendors to build it into their margins and increase your price, and to the customer it will appear they are paying only $30 or $40 for that quick option...whatever the vendor figured out their customers are willing to pay...
After all we are talking about purely “luxury” goods here, which are often impulsive purchases...lol... and in some cases nearly impossible to replace goods...i find the faster options tend to be more secure as well, and even customs processes are expedited... I know for sure that in Canada the “priority” and courier company packages are quicker through customs..
For an impulsive purchase which is not a necessity, I think timing is truly of the essence.
Like with EO...I’m sure when they do free shipping for $500 USD or over orders, they have built it into their margins...and it works... end of the day, since becoming an “ouddict” most of my $$$ went to EO, atleast to some extent, because of their shipping policy.
They have obviously figured out a cost effective way (for them atleast) and priced accordingly to make sure the customer gets the product as fast as possible in a reliable way...while allowing them to still rely on the “excitement” etc. of customers to get repeat business... perhaps a psychologist / psychiatrist could chime in...:Roflmao::Geek::Thumbsdown:

Loool I will defend Ensar on that one ! I think with DHL when you can garanty like 40 dispatchings/month, you have promotional prices ...
I could have done this, problem with etsy is that I can't make it only on full bottles.

If someone orders few random samples with fast shipping like 10 times I can close the store :Roflmao::Roflmao::Roflmao:.

I'm looking for a 3 days/30$ alternative but hard to find

@Arsalan

I can see your point, it is valid, and I respect that.

Personally though..... I prefer the least cost for shipping, even if it takes forever, because from my own experience...buying bottle after bottle....the shipping costs really add up.
Also, to have the prices pumped-up to cover expedited shipping, that would activate the MOCA squad:Roflmao::Roflmao::Roflmao:

Okay peep's ! I'm trying an experiment !

This offer is destinated to the 3 next buyers of a full bottle :

Purchase a full bottle of Mandalay Signature with normal shipping and you will get fast shipping instead (worth normaly 70$).

This offer isn't destinated to French people (désolé ...)

Wow! My theory is getting an immediate test!

Appreciate your understanding!
I agree, over multiple purchases shipping certainly does add up.

Brother, you defended me because you understood that what i said is also in the best interest of the vendor!
