Voting Rules
The Rules are simple:

1. Vote for your Natural Perfume of the Year.
2. The listed is in alphabetical order of the vendor and oud name.
3. If your choice of Natural Perfume is not listed, please nominate it on the nomination thread for inclusion on the poll.

Guidance Notes
If you are not sure about how to make a decision, have a look at the following evaluation criteria:

1. Experience - what experience do you have with the scent? You should have worn it on the skin at least once.
2. Value - this is a function of the price vs quality
3. Scent Profile - self-explanatory.
4. Quality - how does it feel when wearing it compared to others across the price range spectrum? What is the pedigree of wood used? Is it aged etc.
5. Longevity - how long does it last?
6. Silage - what is the projection of the scent?
7. Uniqueness - is this experience available with another oud, or is this something special and different?
8. Effectiveness - do you have to use large amounts to obtain the desired effect, or are a couple of drops sufficient?
9. Other considerations such as colour, association, genre etc..

There is only one round of voting for natural perfumes as we did not have many nominations so please cast your vote now. Next year we will change this and have a bit more structure to the process and enable a greater variety of natural perfumes to be listed.

If Rising Phoenix, Agarwood Assam and Ensar Oud were there on the list, there would be more possibility to increase casting vote turn-out. For example, I found Sultan Leather Attar by Ensar Oud the best for me, but it is not present on the list.

I think, each vendor had released some itr/ blend/ maceration. So, one from each would do.

Thanks

Everyone on this forum had ONE MONTH to nominate their attars... so if its not on the list, you should have nominated it!

We will keep the vote on for one more week now to allow you to nominate. PLEASE DO SO WITHIN 48 HOURS.

The vote will now end on 11th January.

brother nadeem i have already voted for two attars ,is it possible to do for ensar sultan leather attar. jazak allah.

I am afraid not. The software does not allow it. As mentioned, we gave everyone plenty of time to nominate their natural perfume of the year and only a few responded.

I can not vote I think it's new here, but for me from the finalists Musk Rose of The Rising Phoenix and probe of a friend Sultan Leather Attar by Ensar Rose and they are wonderful

You can vote, but only for one! You may be under the impression that the Oud of the Year 2017 also apply here - they do not.

I’ll add your choices to the tallies of the final results. This thread is now closed.

It would be really helpful if there was threads like "Top 5 oils of 2021" where every individual shares what they love and use most for that year.
