I never had a properly done hindi oil.
And Lalitya was maybe not real hindi-style.

I had cheesy stuff.
Completely non complex ones.
Or barny like goat-shi*, hay from the hamster wheel-style

Papua is my first choice from the beautiful Maroke oils i have had from there, and second would be Laotian.
I bought 2 Laos oils from a collector and really did not know if they would be any good, it was a risk as this seller usually sold antiques and had no other oils for sale.
I was amzed at how good they were, superbly woody with a very regal clean aroma, it is on par with any artisan oud i have bought.
Third would have to be Hindi as it is generally always amazing.

I adore ALL of the profiles. It's near impossible to pick a favorite but.............if forced, I'd choose Vietnamese.

The combination of bitter and sweet, earthy and (at times) kinam(ic) as well as the potency, diffusion/projection and general brain buzz that the good stuff provides hits all of the right highs for me.

All that said; a fine Merauke and yes, of course, Hindi can slay me just as quickly and Laos......a good Laotian......OK, I'll stop now! :)
